AUTOHOTSPOTS

Community Guidelines

AutoHotspots works because members treat locations, locals and each other properly. These are the rules of the road — breaking them gets content removed and repeat offenders banned (without refund, per the Terms).

Respect the spot

  • Leave every spot as you found it. No litter, no tyre marks, no damage. If a spot gets ruined, everyone loses it.
  • Never trespass. If a listing says “ask first”, ask. If a barrier, sign or person says no — that’s the answer. Don’t submit spots that require breaking in.
  • Keep the peace. Multi-storeys and city spots often have neighbours and security. Revving, launches and music at midnight get spots blacklisted — shoot quietly and move on.
  • Share knowledge honestly. Tag photos to the spot they were actually taken at, and keep spot descriptions accurate — access notes, quiet times and hazards help everyone.

Drive like an adult

  • Nothing on AutoHotspots is an invitation to speed, race, drift or drive anti-socially on public roads. Rolling shots need a closed road or a second car at legal speeds — plan properly.
  • Content glorifying dangerous driving (street drifting, excessive speed, near-misses) will be removed.

Photos and content

  • Upload your own work only — you must have the rights to share it.
  • No indecent, hateful or violent content. Blur or avoid capturing bystanders where you can; take extra care with anything showing children.
  • Registration plates are part of car culture, but if an owner asks for their plate to be removed, we’ll honour it — use the report flag.
  • Comments are for tips and appreciation. No abuse, no gatekeeping, no spam or selling — there are ad slots for that.

Reporting and enforcement

Every photo has a report flag (indecent content, spam, wrong location, privacy). Reports go straight to the team and are usually actioned within a day. Serious or repeated breaches — trespass content, dangerous driving, harassment — lead to removal and account termination. If something urgent needs attention, email hello@autohotspots.com.

The short version

Respect the spot, respect the neighbours, drive legally, shoot your own car, help the next member. That’s it. 🏁
