AUTOHOTSPOTS

Terms of Service

Effective date:19 July 2026. These terms govern your use of AutoHotspots (autohotspots.com), operated by AutoHotspots (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.

1. What AutoHotspots is

AutoHotspots is a paid members’ directory of photography locations for cars and motorbikes, with community features: member profiles, photo uploads, likes, comments and location tips. Locations are contributed and described by members — they are suggestions, not endorsements.

2. Membership and billing

  • Founding members: the first 250 accounts receive full membership free of charge for the lifetime of the service. Founding status is personal to the account, non-transferable, and may be withdrawn for breaches of these terms.
  • Thereafter, membership costs £10 per month, billed by Stripe as a recurring subscription. Prices include applicable UK VAT unless stated otherwise.
  • You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid billing period. We don’t offer partial-month refunds, except where the law requires.
  • If a renewal payment fails or a subscription is cancelled, access to members-only areas is paused. Your profile, garage and photos are retained (see the Privacy Policy for retention).
  • We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.

3. Your safety and the law come first

Visiting any location listed on AutoHotspots is entirely at your own risk. You are responsible for:

  • driving legally and safely — nothing on this site is an invitation to speed, race, drift or drive anti-socially;
  • respecting property: some spots are private land or managed car parks. Where a listing says “ask first”, ask. Never trespass, ignore signage or bypass barriers;
  • local rules: parking restrictions, noise, curfews and access hours;
  • your own safety and that of others while shooting.

We may remove listings, and suspend members, where a location is being abused or local complaints arise.

4. Your content

  • You keep ownership of photos and text you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, resize and promote that content on and around the service (including social media and marketing for the service), until you delete it or your account is deleted.
  • Only upload content you took or have the right to share. No indecent, hateful, infringing or misleading content; no spam or advertising in comments.
  • Uploads are reviewed before publication and content may be removed at our discretion. Members can report content; repeated or serious breaches lead to suspension or termination without refund.
  • Location accuracy matters: tag photos to the spot they were actually taken at.

5. Advertising

The service shows clearly-labelled sponsored content from automotive brands, targeted at broad interest level (for example, owners of a vehicle marque). Advertisers never receive your personal data — see the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use of the service

  • One account per person; keep your credentials secure.
  • No scraping, bulk-downloading of the directory, reselling access or republishing location data.
  • No attempts to circumvent payment, moderation or security controls.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss or damage arising from use of the service or from visiting any listed location, including vehicle damage, parking fines or personal injury. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). Our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending or changing the service

We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these terms — material changes will be notified by email or on-site notice at least 14 days before they take effect. If you continue using the service after that, the new terms apply.

9. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Questions: hello@autohotspots.com.
